Man, I am getting old. I remember the pet store at the Boise Towne Mall way back in the day when Meridian was full of cow pastures and it would take less than 10 minutes to get to the Mall from Meridian. Oh well. Times change, and our kids are getting older. Our son hates to go to the Mall matter of fact he hates to go shopping. Maybe we are blessed to have a son who hates to go to the mall and go shopping but he's a kid who grows so going to the Mall is just a part of our lives. We were leaving out the Kohl's side when I noticed that there was a dimly lit new building on the lower level where the old pet store used to be. It quite frankly looked like a Asian nightclub where Televisions are on and music is loud. How do I know? Well I have been to a few in Bay Area. I digress, I walked inside and spoke to a nice lady who explained that PLAYlive Nation is a place were kids can play games. There are plenty of games, gaming units, TVs, headphones, and gaming chairs. If you are a member, there are free times during the week,where members can play for free. The membership is 20 bucks a month and the user gets ( x) amount of time per month to play. Winner Winner Chicken Dinner for our son. He can enjoy going to the mall while we can now enjoy going to the mall. Keep in the mind, that there is restrictions and adult supervision at all times inside PLAYlive Nation. You can choose what type of games your kiddos can play and also limit their time as well. At the other end of the spectrum at the other end of the mall is a painting and artsy location where kids can draw, paint, and even sculpt.
