PS Vita Speakers no longer working

Not sure if it's my fault or not. Is this a common thing? Are the speakers easy to replace?
Answer:
Have you tried using headphones? If it works with headphones you could use them until you're able to get it fixed.
If headphones are still working, it sounds like the wiring between the speakers and the soundcard (or whatever generates sound in a device as small as a Vita) has become disconnected. You might need to send it in for repair
Have you tried poking around in the headphone port? Sometimes the speakers to my laptop don't work, and it turns out it just thinks I've still got headphones plugged in.
