PS4 won't update system

"I can get to the view details screen, but when I hit next it just goes to the ""please wait"" screen and sits there until it notifies me that the ""file cannot be downloaded"". what can i do? i've tried to reset my ps4 and router already

Answer:
it means you don't have enough memory for the update.
Load up into safe mode, when the PS is off hold the power button until you hear 2 beeps, about 10 seconds. You'll have to have the DS4 hooked up via usb cable to navigate. Then I had to select the option to "Rebuild Database". Once that was finished you can download the update from safe mode.
I'd call Sony.
